Información general de Copyright

Una vez aceptadas las anteriores condiciones, SHELIOS®, de manera general, no pone objeciones a la reproducción y uso de materiales de su propiedad (fotografías, figuras, mapas, tablas y/o datos), siempre y cuando se cumplan las condiciones siguientes:

1) Cualquier material de SHELIOS® no puede ser empleado de manera que implique apoyo explícito por parte de SHELIOS® o de cualquiera de sus colaboradores a ningún producto, servicio o actividad comercial, ni tampoco ser empleado de ninguna otra forma que pueda inducir a confusión.

2) SHELIOS® debería ser reconocido como la fuente del material que se emplee. Es ilegal proclamar de manera fraudulenta derechos de copyright u otros cualesquiera en el material de SHELIOS®.

3) Bajo ningún concepto se le podrá imputar a SHELIOS® cualquier coste o demanda que pueda surgir a partir del uso del material de SHELIOS® por parte de terceros.  

4) SHELIOS® no indemnizará ni defenderá a posibles usuarios del material de SHELIOS® por incumplimiento de los derechos de copyright, ni asegurará derechos exclusivos de su material.

5) El material de SHELIOS® no está protegido por copyright excepto donde se indique. En tal caso, los permisos de uso deben obtenerse directamente del propietario del copyright antes de su empleo. Por otra parte, si el material de SHELIOS® no tiene copyright, éste puede ser reproducido y distribuido sin necesidad de más permisos.

6) Si una persona reconocible o famosa (por ejemplo, un conocido narrador contratado para dar voz a un vídeo), aparece en cualquier material de SHELIOS®, el uso con propósito comercial de esta persona, como de su nombre, fotografía, voz, o material biográfico; puede infringir el derecho a la intimidad de dicha persona, por lo que para ello debería obtenerse permiso previo por parte de la misma.

7) Parte del material de SHELIOS® puede incorporar música o fotografías con copyright pero con licencia concedida para ese uso particular de SHELIOS®. Cualquier editaje o manipulación de este material podría no estar cubierto por la licencia original, por lo cual se necesitaría permiso del propietario del copyright.

General Copyright Information

SHELIOS® generally has no objection to the reproduction and use of SHELIOS® materials (photos, figures, maps, tables, and/or data), subject to the following conditions:

4) SHELIOS® does not indemnify nor hold harmless users of SHELIOS® material, nor release such users from copyright infringement, nor grant exclusive use rights with respect to SHELIOS® material.

6) If a recognizable person, or talent (e.g., a noted personality engaged to narrate a film) appears in SHELIOS® material, use for commercial purposes of that person's or talent's name, photograph likeness, voice, or biographical material may infringe a right of privacy or publicity. Therefore, permission should be obtained from the recognizable person or talent.

7) Some SHELIOS® material may incorporate music or photography which is copyrighted and licensed for the particular SHELIOS® work. Any editing or otherwise altering of the work may not be covered under the original license, and therefore would require permission of the copyright owner.
